A few terms come up a lot on this site. Here's what they actually mean, plainly.
Your community's home on the platform. Anchored to a Resident Association, CPF or CBO you already trust, not something built to replace it.
A smaller group of neighbours inside a Node, small enough that people actually know each other.
A person your community trusts, who runs a Cell and acts on what the platform surfaces: who might need to meet whom.
The person from your own community structure who administers your Node and approves who's involved.
What you fill in when you join: what you can offer, not just what you need.
Where offers and needs inside your Node meet.
Where a Node finds a verified Grounder for something it can't supply itself.
An outside organisation or practitioner, verified first, placed into a community on the community's terms, not theirs.
The six things that fail first in a crisis, and the six categories every offer, need and listing on the platform falls under.
