Train with us

Skills you keep. Work you choose.

Two training tracks for young people in our communities. Funded, so you don't pay. Licensed, so the skill is yours to use. Not a job promise, and we say that up front.

Three tracks.

Visual Storytelling

Learn graphic recording. Draw what a community says, live, in the room, so people can see their own story and their own strength.

Innovation Workshops

Learn a method for solving problems together, built from naming the problem through to generating real options. We start with those two phases. The third is still being built.

In development
Build & Shelter Skills

Practical building and shelter-related trade skills, taught through real construction work. In partnership discussion with Home of Compassion in Delft. Details to follow once confirmed.

The names of these tracks aren't final. Build & Shelter Skills isn't confirmed yet — the other two are further along.

How it works. Straight.

Training is funded by grants, so learners don't pay. When you finish, ResilientSA licenses you to run the training and use the software. The licence is free.

You're not employed by ResilientSA, and there's no guaranteed income. You're a licensed practitioner. You choose which engagements to take, you're paid per engagement, and you're free to work for anyone else too.

Some of that work comes through ResilientSA: workshops in communities, and helping outside organisations land their programmes. Some you'll find yourself.

Where this stands.

There's no cohort yet, and the funding isn't confirmed. We're writing our safeguarding policy before we start, and learners under 18 will need a parent or guardian's consent. So there's no sign-up form yet. If you're interested, or you want to fund a cohort, tell us.

Interested?

Tell us who you are and what caught your eye. We'll keep you in the loop as the first cohort takes shape.
